TechHalo Summary
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has introduced a Rapid DNA Instrument in Tahlequah, allowing law enforcement to generate DNA profiles from single-source samples like blood or saliva in about 90 minutes. The fully automated system is available to agencies across northeastern Oklahoma after a free three-hour training. It provides quick investigative leads while traditional lab analysis is still pending. This is the second such location in the state, following the first in Edmond.
