After a $6,000 Telecaster was stolen from Heart’s tour van outside the Hard Rock Hotel in Atlantic City, police used license plate recognition to track the suspect’s vehicle. Surveillance showed the man taking the guitar around 12:30 AM. LPR cameras caught the car leaving the city, leading officers to a local hotel where the guitar was found in the suspect’s room. It was back in Heart’s hands within hours.
